It is now noon on Saturday with less than an hour to go until the end of camp. It has been an amazing year – one of the best ever – and we’re sad to see it come to a close. Here are some random videos from Friday’s events along with a few pictures. [imagebrowser id=33]
Another day. Another hot day. Another hot, rainless day. Another hot, rainless, AWESOME day! It’s amazing how the heat just cannot hold us down. Despite how tired some of us staff are, it has not seemed to affect the morale of camp at all, and in fact Thursday was probably the best day yet!

It’s Tuesday night at 11:26 PM and I’m finally able to start writing today’s blog post. This is half because of how awesome today was, and half because I was finally able to get all of the photos and video uploaded. It seems as the week goes on there is more to document and less time to do it!

This has already been a great year so far, and it’s only the end of the first night. It’s weird having over 100 people here – weird in a good way! Reid Broadstreet, Joel Becker, and Luke Beecham display their cart items at the local Walmart during our last-minute shopping trip. Camp has officially begun for the staff! Today we arrived around 2pm and had our pre-camp meeting in the coolness of the air-conditioned cafeteria. After Edna’s pizza and Small Compline, we headed to the (hot) pool for some evening swim time. The heat was a little unbearable so we had a little time to just hang out in our cabins.
