ST. JOHN’S CAMP PROGRAMS FINANCIAL POLICY

  1. RESGISTRATION
    1. Online registration is via the camp website only. There are no paper forms.
  2. REFUNDSSt. John’s Camp Programs is happy to provide refunds based on the following schedule:
    1. 60 days or more prior to camp – Full refund (minus a $50 non-refundable administration fee)  15-60 days prior – half refund. 2 weeks or less prior – no refund. Medical or family emergencies will be considered.
  3. PAYMENTS & SCHOLARSHIPSDue to issues collecting payments from campers sometimes even months after an event, we must strictly enforce the following payment policy:
    1. Payment Methods
      1. Credit/Debit Cards/PayPal – Online payments with any major credit/debit card or through your own PayPal account through our secure PayPal gateway are the only way to pay the camp registration fee.
      2. Parish Checks
        1. ONLY parish checks are accepted for those parishes who submit one check for their campers.  ***WE NO LONGER ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS***
        2. Directly mailed parish checks must be received at least 2 weeks or more prior to event start date. ***WE NO LONGER ACCEPT PAYMENT AT CAMP***
    2. Scholarships
      1. A Scholarship Form must be submitted prior to consideration for scholarship funds.
      2. Scholarships will not exceed 50% of the total cost of camp.
      3. Scholarship availability ends 2 weeks before the beginning of any event.
      4. All scholarship recipients must write a general thank you letter to be distributed to our donors.
    3. ****Arrival of Campers Without Final Payment – Please read this carefully****
      1. Parent/Guardian Called – define problem, perhaps there is a misunderstanding.
      2. Parents/Guardians utilize online payment function at that point.  Discussion with parent/guardian of the option for a payment plan for fulfilling the remaining balance.
      3. If parents/guardians do not pay, then child can stay, but child will not be admitted to any further camps until section 2 above is fulfilled.
      4. Discussion will be held with parents regarding payment for all future SJCP events.
      5. If camper is 18 years of age or in their final year of camp then they are responsible for ensuring payment in full prior to attending any SJCP event.
