Archbishop Job + Water Balloons, and Hawaiian Luau

Tuesday was packed full of fun. We headed down to the old bridge to drop water balloons on unsuspecting canoers. With us was Archbishop Job, who was right on target with his water balloon bombs (I believe he had a direct hit to someone’s shoulder). Camp Rivervale kitchen staff donned Hawaiian apparel in the spirit of the Luau scheduled for later that night. After dinner, campers participated in the all camp olympic games, which included 5 groups rotating between 5 different olympic game stations. Camp Olympics and Hawaiian Luau

On Tuesday evening all campers participated in the camp olympics. There were 7 teams of campers, and each team ran from station to station participating in challenging Olympic-type sports and contests headed up by a pair of counselors. Some of the stations included obstacle courses, egg tosses, Bible trivia, puzzle assembly, and “make John and Art laugh” in which the team was rewarded for making both John Beecham and Josh Clemens laugh at the same time.
