An all-day, all-ages family retreat, featuring Fr. Stephen Freeman as the keynote speaker. There will be morning and evening prayers, 3 different sessions with Fr. Stephen, singing, afternoon recreation time, and other merriment and fellowship! Lunch and dinner will be provided, as well as child care and a young children’s program during the speaking sessions! Don’t miss it for the World!
Fr. Stephen is an Orthodox Archpriest under the jurisdiction of the Orthodox Church in America. He serves as the Rector of St. Anne Orthodox Church in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He is the author of the “Glory to God for All Things” blog, numerous published articles and the book, “Everywhere Present: Christianity in a One-Story Universe.” He is also the author of the popular podcast, “Glory to God”, on Ancient Faith Radio.
Fr. Stephen has a B.A. in Classical Languages from Furman University (1977), an M.Div. from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary (1980), and an M.A. in Theology from Duke University (1991). His thesis at Duke was entitled “The Icon as Theology.”

Rate is per person and includes lunch, dinner, and and all activities for the day. Children 2 and under attend for free.
(Day-of registrations will be accepted, however we strongly encourage you to register in advance to save yourself (and us) time at check-in at the retreat. Thanks!)
*For Emmaus Retreat 2014, a limited number of scholarships are available, with a maximum of four per family. The maximum scholarship approval amount will be $25 per person (half the registration fee). See the Scholarship page for more details and to apply.
