Camp Is Over
August 2nd, 2008That’s it, we’re outta here. It was a very special week, and with the extra day the staff has been here for a full 7 days. We’re ready to go back out into the real world, but we’re really going to miss camp, as always.
Divine Liturgy just wrapped up and the campers are beginning to clean up the grounds, pack up their stuff, and prepare for the journey home. The campers will have a final counseling group and then Luke will give the final challenge, which usually consists of a wrap-up of the teachings at camp and how to tie them in with our every day lives.
It’s sad to see it come to an end, but there is always next year to look forward to. We will be distributing packets which contain photos, audio from teachings, and quotes from the prayer walk. We will also try to get some of our digital content up on the blog, so check back often.
